We are seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Specialist, AI Enabled Risk Oversight to join our Technology Risk Management (TRM) team.
This individual contributor role is focused on the hands‑on design, build, testing, and deployment of AI‑enabled solutions and digital workers that automate Technology Risk Management activities. The role also executes core technology and cyber risk activities, ensuring AI‑enabled processes operate safely, consistently, and in alignment with BNY’s risk frameworks, control standards, and regulatory expectations.
The role works closely with Technology, Engineering, Data, and Risk partners to deliver production‑ready, AI‑enabled risk solutions that support scalable oversight, operational efficiency, and strong governance.
Key Responsibilities:
AI & Agentic Solution Delivery:
- Build, configure, test, and deploy AI Agents and digital workers to automate repeatable Technology Risk Management processes.
- Execute prompt logic, workflow orchestration, data inputs, and decision rules for AI‑enabled risk use cases operating in regulated environments.
- Validate AI outputs to ensure accuracy, consistency, traceability, and control alignment prior to production use.
- Support production readiness by maintaining documentation, guardrails, audit evidence, and operational controls for AI solutions.
- Partner with Engineering, Data, and Risk SMEs to integrate AI agents into existing TRM workflows, tools, and governance routines.
Technology & Cyber Risk Execution:
- Execute Technology and Cyber Risk Management activities, including risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and control evaluations across applications, infrastructure, and services.
- Support continuous improvement of TRM processes through automation, standardization, and reduction of manual effort.
- Assist with risk metrics, dashboards, and standard reporting for governance forums, leveraging AI‑enabled automation where applicable.
- Assist with control testing, evidence collection, and documentation in support of internal governance, regulatory exams, and audits.
Governance & Stakeholder Support:
- Prepare materials, data outputs, and documentation required for TRM oversight and governance forums.
- Collaborate with Technology, Cybersecurity, Data, and Risk stakeholders to support timely issue escalation and execution.
- Ensure all deliverables align with BNY risk policies, standards, and control expectations.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- 2+ years of experience in technology risk, cyber risk, data risk, automation, or a related analytical/technical role, ideally through an Analyst or rotational program.
- Hands‑on experience building, configuring, or supporting AI‑enabled solutions, automation, or workflow tools in a controlled or regulated environment.
- Working knowledge of technology and cyber risk concepts, including controls, risk assessments, metrics, and issue management.
- Familiarity with modern AI concepts and tools (e.g., GenAI, prompt logic, automation workflows, data pipelines, or AI platforms).
- Ability to execute control testing, documentation, evidence collection, and reporting in line with risk and regulatory expectations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with structured data and produce clear, auditable outputs.
- Ability to partner effectively with Engineering, Data, Risk, and business teams.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and execution quality.
- Financial services experience is preferred, but not required.

Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee’s eligible dependents.
